The 2016-17 school year is coming to an end and the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) is doing a survey on how well Florida’s schools are supporting parents’ involvement in their child’s education. In order to get the information that the FLDOE needs, they conduct an annual ESE Parent Survey for parents of Pre-k and K-12 students who are receiving services. The survey consists of 25 items and the specific information recorded from it is confidential.
This annual survey has been open since February 1st and continues up until May 31st. Participants can take the survey online or on paper. Many parents have already received a paper copy of the survey, letter, flyer, email or call from their school district asking them to participate in the annual ESE Parent Survey. If you did not receive these, you can complete the survey online or fill out a paper copy that was sent home with your child from school.
To access and complete the survey online, go to: www.esesurvey.com.
For copies of the paper survey, contact ESE Parent Specialist Mrs. Sue McVeigh, or Flagler County Schools’ Exceptional Student Education Department: 386-586-2395, Ext. 2105.
The results will be published in the fall on FDOE’s website located here.
