A Seuss Spectacular: OKES Musical

Old Kings Elementary School students will perform the ‘Seuss and Non-Seuss’ themed musical on Tuesday, February 28th and Thursday, March 1st at 7:00 PM in the Flagler Auditorium. OKES students, kindergarten through sixth grade, will be acting out the Dr. Seuss themed performance that they have been practicing since September.

Mr. Rob Frederick, musical director of the play, states, “We have never performed a musical around a literary character before and it is neat that the dates the auditorium chose for us just happen to correspond to Dr. Seuss’s birthday.”

“[…] It pretty much follows the same basic format that we have done in the past. i.e. no acts or scenes, no continuous story…more of a review,” Mr. Frederick continues.
