On Friday, October 28th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Belle Terre Elementary is hosting their annual Fall Festival for the students and families. This festival is used to help raise money for the BTES Parent Teacher Organization, and their classrooms.
“We like to offer our students and families fun activities that connect them to our school. Fall festival is always a great night!” Mrs. Katrina Townsend, BTES assistant principal, said.
The event is a great opportunity to build school spirit and collect funds from the game booths that is used to better their school. When you play the games, you can win a ton of prizes and candy. They have many activities such as a cake walk, archery, and a rock climbing wall. They also offer a costume contest for each grade level so students can have a fun time dressing up.
“We usually have over 1,000 students and families attend,” Mrs. Townsend told us.
This festival is a great opportunity for students and their families to enjoy the fall season by doing fun activities together. The students get a chance to enjoy these fun festivities with their other peers as well. All the students of BTES and their families can come join in the courtyards in the center of the school for a fun night.
