October’s Athlete of the Month is FPC senior Queshaun Byrd. He was chosen for this title by his football coach Thomas Moody, who stated, “Queshaun Byrd is a dynamic athlete and very successful in the classroom. He has the tools and demeanor to be an elite player on the collegiate level.”
What number are you and what do you play?
I am player number 1 and I’m a running back.
How long have you been playing football?
I have been playing since I was about six years old.
Why did you start playing football?
When I was younger I liked to hit people, so I started playing because I was able to hit people and not get in trouble.
Do you plan to play football in your future, if so in what way?
Yes I do plan on playing for a professional team.
What was the worst injury you have had while playing football?
I have never really had a bad injury, but I would say the worst injury I have had was a hip flexion.
